Job Description

  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on the job site.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and project managers.
  • Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any potential delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
  • Resolve any on-site conflicts or challenges promptly and efficiently.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Experience managing construction projects (specifically K-12) in the general contracting industry.
  • Strong leadership, scheduling, and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and budget management.
