Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Superintendent are:

    • Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up K-12 and/or higher education projects ranging from $20M-$80M+
    • Develop and execute detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved
    • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards
    • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure smooth project delivery
    • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies (OSHA compliance)
    • Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and quality control reviews
    • Identify and proactively resolve field-related issues, minimizing delays and cost impacts
    • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation
    • Oversee site logistics, sequencing, and phasing in active or occupied campus environments

The Successful Applicant



Qualifications for the Superintendent:

  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing ground-up construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience delivering education projects (K-12 or higher education strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage projects valued at $20M+
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and sequencing
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
