The Superintendent will lead field operations for commercial construction projects throughout the Charlotte region and surrounding Carolinas markets. Projects will consist primarily of smaller ground-up and renovation work, including financial institutions, restaurants, and commercial facilities.

Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities, including ground-up and renovation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly.
  • Prepare and submit daily progress reports to management.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Superintendent experience with commercial construction projects
  • Ground-up construction experience preferred
  • Renovation and occupied-space experience preferred
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel throughout North and South Carolina as needed
  • Stable work history and strong communication skills
  • Experience working with commercial clients and fast-paced project schedules
