Superintendent needs to have experience overseeing large scale, complex, ground up healthcare projects. $20M-$80M is their typical project size and all projects are within 250 miles of Atlanta metro. Client also has repeat business in the correctional facility space and once these series of builds are complete, the Superintendent would move back to Ground Up Healthcare.

Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects for correctional facilities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor on-site staff to uphold company standards and expectations.
  • Address and resolve construction challenges to keep projects on track.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent - Correctional Facilities should have:

  • Proven experience in construction management, particularly within correctional facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
