With approximately 50 employees and a strong backlog of work, the company combines the culture of a family-owned business with the capabilities of a larger general contractor.The Superintendent will play a critical role in delivering complex ground-up projects while working closely with project teams, owners, architects, and subcontractors. This Superintendent position offers the opportunity to oversee high-profile construction projects ranging from smaller renovations to large-scale developments valued at over $100 million. The organization is seeking a proven Superintendent who can independently lead major projects and contribute to the company's continued growth.Job DescriptionOversee all day-to-day on-site construction operations for commercial projects.Manage ground-up construction projects, typically valued at $20 million and above.Coordinate project activities with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams.Read, interpret, and execute construction documents and specifications.Conduct constructability reviews and maintain project quality standards.Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation.Manage material procurement and scheduling activities.Ensure jobsite safety compliance and enforce OSHA standards.Lead subcontractor scheduling, coordination, and performance management.Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain project schedules and budgets.Utilize platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, and project management technologies.Support successful delivery of K-12, municipal, community, government, commercial, and other construction projects.Serve as the lead Superintendent on assigned projects and provide field leadership from mobilization through closeout.Act as the primary on-site Superintendent responsible for project execution, quality control, and safety performance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
