Job Description

The Superintendent - Growing General Contractor - Richmond will be responsible for:

  • Leading day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining full understanding of plans, specifications and project documentation
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, equipment and materials to meet project milestones
  • Monitoring productivity, budgets, cost codes and overall site performance
  • Implementing site‑specific quality and safety plans and lead toolbox talks
  • Managing inspections with city officials, agencies and design partners
  • Supporting pre‑construction, constructability reviews, scheduling and project close‑out

The Successful Applicant

Superintendent - Growing General Contractor - Richmond should have:

  • 2+ years of Superintendent experience at a General or Civil contractor
  • Experience working on projects $10M+
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency using construction technology (Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD)
  • Demonstrated success driving safety compliance and site culture
  • Ability to lead teams, solve problems quickly and build strong stakeholder relationships
