Our client specializes in complex renovations and adaptive re-use projects in urban environments. Their work spans luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. Projects range from brownstone restorations and high-end fit-outs to unique developments such as cannabis dispensaries and boutique mixed-use spaces, typically within Boston city limits.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities from pre-construction through completion
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain strict quality control, particularly on high-end finishes and detailing
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients
  • Drive project scheduling, sequencing, and milestone tracking
  • Proactively identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays and cost overruns
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the build lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on high-end residential or interior finish projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
  • Experience working on urban, logistically complex sites
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • A proactive, "go-getter" mindset with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Familiarity with projects such as brownstone renovations, luxury fit-outs, or adaptive re-use is highly desirable
