Job Description

The Superintendent - Historic Renovations will report into senior project leadership and oversee field operations on renovation projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and safety are maintained.

  • Lead on-site construction activities for historic and renovation projects
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and daily site operations
  • Ensure preservation standards and construction quality are met
  • Coordinate with project managers on budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Identify and resolve site challenges, particularly within older structures
  • Drive project progress while maintaining attention to detail and craftsmanship

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent - Historic Renovations we are seeking:

  • 3-7+ years of experience as a Superintendent
  • Proven experience with HISTORICAL renovation, restoration, or adaptive reuse projects
  • Exposure to ground-up commercial construction is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
  • High-energy, motivated individual looking to grow within a company
  • Background in commercial sectors such as municipal, education, or mixed-use preferred
