Job Description



Project Execution & Site Management

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from ground-up through project completion for warehouse and distribution facility builds.
  • Coordinate daily operations of subcontractors, vendors, and workforce to ensure efficient progress.
  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term construction schedules in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.



Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.



Quality Control

  • Monitor construction quality and ensure work meets design specifications and client expectations.
  • Conduct inspections and coordinate with third-party inspectors as needed.
  • Maintain punch lists and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.



Scheduling & Coordination

  • Lead weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Identify and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or field issues.
  • Coordinate site logistics, including deliveries, equipment usage, and site access.



Cost Control & Reporting

  • Assist in tracking project budgets, change orders, and progress.
  • Provide daily/weekly progress reports to project management and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.



Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and design teams.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively.

The Successful Applicant



Required

  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction supervision, with a strong focus on industrial or commercial projects.
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up big box warehouse, distribution center, or facility projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations (OSHA).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.



Preferred

  • Experience with tilt-wall, precast, steel structures, and large-scale concrete work.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
