Known for its strong reputation, employee-focused culture, and commitment to community impact, the company continues to grow through repeat business and long-standing client relationships.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - Industrial/Base-Building - Manassas, VA will be responsible for:Manage all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure project success.Maintain project schedules and drive production to meet milestones and deadlines.Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.Conduct quality control inspections and proactively resolve field issues.Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings as needed.Monitor project budgets, site logistics, and material procurement to support efficient execution.Prepare and maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation.Deliver successful projects across commercial interiors, medical offices, SCIF environments, industrial facilities, warehouses, and tilt-wall construction projects.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Superintendent - Industrial/Base-Building - Manassas, VA should have:3+ years of construction experience with Superintendent responsibilities preferred.Open to candidates ranging from emerging field leaders to experienced Superintendents.Experience managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, office, tenant improvement, warehouse, or similar construction projects.Ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades on active construction sites.Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety programs, and quality control processes.Experience utilizing construction management platforms such as Procore, PlanGrid, Newforma, or equivalent software.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Stable work history and desire to build a long-term career with a growing contractor.Ability to manage projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale ground-up developments.What's on OfferThe Superintendent - Industrial/Base-Building - Manassas, VA will receive:Competitive salary - $110,000 to $130,000.Performance-based annual bonus program ranging from approximately $4,000 to $20,000.$600 monthly vehicle allowanceFuel reimbursement for project-related travel.Excellent healthcare benefits, including 100% employee medical coverage and increasing dependent coverage based on tenure.Opportunity to work on a highly diverse mix of commercial interiors, SCIF, industrial, warehouse, healthcare, retail, and ground-up construction projects.Interested?
