Job Description

  • Oversee all day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and onsite personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards
  • Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, workmanship, productivity, and quality control
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to address RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logistics
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate expectations related to schedule, safety, and performance
  • Identify and proactively resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays to minimize project disruption
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and project records
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and local building codes
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover activities to ensure a successful project closeout
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and field staff throughout the project lifecycle

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from ground-up through closeout
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and field operations
  • Ability to lead subcontractors, enforce accountability, and maintain project schedules
  • Skilled at reading construction drawings, specifications, and coordinating field activities
  • Safety-focused with a strong understanding of OSHA and jobsite compliance
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to resolve field issues quickly and effectively
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with both field teams and project stakeholders
  • Highly organized with experience managing daily reports, inspections, and punch lists
  • Ability to maintain quality standards while driving schedule and productivity onsite
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to leadership
