This firm places a strong emphasis on culture both in the office and in the field, providing robust project support to ensure team members maintain the flexibility and work-life balance they need.Job Description The Superintendent will be responsible for: Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed on schedule and in compliance with project plans.Develop and maintain the overall project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.Lead daily/weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to communicate goals, address issues, and ensure alignment.Monitor manpower levels and adjust workforce planning as needed to maintain productivity.Ensure all subcontractors and personnel adhere to company safety programs, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety protocols.Verify material deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure proper storage and installation of materials.Perform routine quality checks to confirm workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.Assist in coordinating equipment needs, logistics, and site access to optimize workflow.Identify potential risks or delays early and collaborate with the project team to implement corrective actions.Train, mentor, and support field staff and craft workers to ensure high performance and professional development.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Superintendent will have:3+ year's experience in large scale commercial ground-up constructionPrevious Light Industrial, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Cold Storage project $25M+ preferredTilt wall, pre-cast, and cast-in-place concrete is a plusComplete understanding of the construction processAbility to create and maintain a master scheduleMust be proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawingsExcellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clientsSelf-motivatedWilling to take on multiple responsibilities and complete a variety of tasks to complete projects on timeWhat's on OfferThe Superintendent will be offered:$110,000 - $130,000 base salary dependent on experience10-15% bonus$800+ car allowancecell phone & gym allowanceannual raises401k matchMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance (PPO & HDHP)Opportunity to work on a variety of projectsProject support (Super, Asst.
