They are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent for a local Kansas City project, but then open to Midwest travel after.

Job Description

  • Manage daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to meet project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and logs.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Travel frequently to various project sites as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Superintendent for local Kansas City project. Once local project is completed, must be open to Midwest travel.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of field experience as a Superintendent
  • Experience with commercial projects is required, with a preference for retail and restaurant projects
  • A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • A focus on delivering high-quality results while staying on schedule.
