This privately held commercial contractor has been operating for approximately 30 years and specializes in construction management, general contracting, design-build, and preconstruction services.

The company delivers a diverse range of projects, including healthcare facilities, higher education and K-12 schools, government and municipal buildings, defense and aerospace facilities, commercial developments, life science spaces, senior living communities, and other institutional projects. It has built a reputation for precision, collaboration, and delivering complex projects across multiple sectors.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with local codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and addressing any delays promptly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and resolving any project issues.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience working on mixed commercial projects, including K-12 or municipal work, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Proven experience working in projects valued at $20M+ and managing complex, high-budget projects.
  • Between 10-15 years of working experience in construction, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively liaise with clients, architects, and project teams.
