Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Supervise and provide direction to on-site staff and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing any potential delays or cost overruns.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with project specifications and client expectations.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and site documentation.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are available and properly maintained.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage on-site teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
