Job Description

The Superintendent will:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
  • Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics.
  • Coordinate project sequencing to ensure milestones and delivery deadlines are achieved.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with all project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management teams, owners, architects, and trade partners.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure work is completed to project specifications.
  • Direct renovation, demolition, and new construction activities within an active school environment.
  • Monitor progress and proactively resolve field issues to maintain productivity.
  • Coordinate installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and communications systems.
  • Manage site improvements, utility upgrades, building envelope enhancements, and interior finishes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Proven ability to independently lead a project from start to finish.
  • Experience with large-scale renovations and/or ground-up construction projects valued at $30M+.
  • Strong leadership skills managing subcontractors, schedules, and field operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and maintaining project quality standards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manassas, VA.
