With a collaborative culture, strong repeat business, and a reputation for quality execution, they continue to expand their presence across multiple markets.Job DescriptionLead all day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects.Manage and direct in-house craft labor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are achieved.Develop, maintain, and update project schedules while driving progress against critical milestones.Monitor jobsite quality standards and ensure work is completed in compliance with project specifications.Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.Track project budgets and assist in controlling construction costs throughout the project lifecycle.Partner with Project Managers and Project Engineers to resolve field issues, coordinate change orders, and maintain project momentum.Build and maintain strong working relationships with inspectors, clients, subcontractors, and trade partners.Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.Provide hands-on leadership and assist with field tasks when necessary to keep projects on schedule and meet client expectations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantMinimum 5 years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor.Proven background managing commercial construction projects exceeding $250,000 in value.Experience with restaurant interiors, hospitality, tenant improvement, or commercial fit-out projects preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and project documentation.Knowledge of construction safety practices and jobsite management.Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Professional demeanor with excellent client-facing communication abilities.Hands-on construction experience with the ability to lead by example in the field.What's on OfferCompetitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000.Company truck and gas card provided.Established contractor with a proven track record and more than 50 projects completed annually.Exceptional client retention rate with approximately 90% repeat business.Diverse portfolio of restaurant, hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use projects.Opportunity to work across Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and the broader Mid-Atlantic region.Interested?
