They combine the resources and expertise of a larger contractor with the agility, accessibility, and culture of an owner-managed organization.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent will:Lead all on-site construction activities for an $18M K-12 school renovation project in Washington, DC.Oversee daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and site logistics.Manage a 41,000-square-foot school reconfiguration involving extensive renovation work.Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades throughout the project.Supervise construction of a new roof system, including green roof installation.Maintain project safety, quality control, and compliance standards.Collaborate with project managers, design teams, owners, and trade partners.Drive schedule performance and proactively resolve field challenges.Conduct subcontractor meetings and ensure work progresses according to plan.Support successful project turnover and project closeout activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
