Job Description

  • Manage daily on-site construction operations to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and clients to address any issues or changes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules and progress reports.
  • Resolve any on-site challenges or conflicts promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with local codes and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Foreman on commercial, civil, or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods (general contracting, site work, concrete preferred)
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Proven leadership and crew supervision skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
