Job Description

  • Oversee all onsite construction activities from project start through completion
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure productivity and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and coordinate daily field operations
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to address RFIs, change orders, and project challenges
  • Lead onsite meetings with subcontractors, owners, and stakeholders
  • Track project progress and proactively identify and resolve delays or issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, site logs, and progress photos
  • Ensure strong communication between field teams, office staff, and clients

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within a General Contractor environment
  • Proven track record managing commercial construction projects (e.g., healthcare, education, industrial, or retail)
  • Strong leadership ability with experience coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc. preferred)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
