Job Description

Lead day-to-day field operations on school and public works construction projects
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with Project Managers and subcontractors
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure productivity and quality
Conduct regular site meetings, including subcontractor coordination and safety briefings
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate execution
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
Maintain project documentation including daily logs, progress reporting, and inspections
Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance
Oversee punch list completion and project closeout

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on ground-up or renovation construction projects
Strong background in K-12, higher education, municipal, or public works construction
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules
Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and building codes
Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining positive relationships
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) preferred
Stable work history with demonstrated project success
