Job Description

  • Lead day-to-day field operations on school and public works construction projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with Project Managers and subcontractors
  • Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure productivity and quality
  • Conduct regular site meetings, including subcontractor coordination and safety briefings
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate execution
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
  • Maintain project documentation including daily logs, progress reporting, and inspections
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance
  • Oversee punch list completion and project closeout

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on ground-up or renovation construction projects
  • Strong background in K-12, higher education, municipal, or public works construction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules
  • Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and building codes
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining positive relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) preferred
  • Stable work history with demonstrated project success
