Our client is a well-established General Contractor based in Greenwich, Connecticut, specializing in the construction of custom luxury homes and high-end residential renovations. Their projects are known for outstanding craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and collaboration with some of the area's top architects, designers, and discerning homeowners. As their portfolio continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead projects from groundbreaking through final completion.

Job Description

  • Manage all daily on-site construction activities from start to finish.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
  • Maintain project schedules and drive work to meet milestones.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, plans, and specifications.
  • Conduct daily site walks and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe jobsite.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, architects, designers, and homeowners.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes.
  • Review drawings and identify potential conflicts before they impact production.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
  • Oversee punch lists and project closeout.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing luxury residential construction.
  • Experience building custom homes from the ground up.
  • Experience managing high-end residential renovations.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local job sites.
