We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the Jacksonville market. This position is responsible for managing all field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Job Description

As the Superintendent, you will:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules
  • Ensure site safety and enforce OSHA compliance standards
  • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress updates
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients
  • Resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
  • Manage inspections and project closeout activities
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Experience with ground-up commercial projects valued at $10M+
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
  • Proven leadership experience managing subcontractors and field teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • OSHA certification preferred
  • Stable work history with successful project delivery experience
