Job Description

  • Manage supplier quality performance and corrective action activities (SCARs).
  • Investigate supplier-related quality issues and lead root-cause analysis.
  • Monitor supplier quality metrics, trends, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Partner with Procurement and Operations to drive supplier quality improvements.
  • Support supplier qualification, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Review quality documentation, inspection records, and first article reports.
  • Resolve nonconforming material issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve supply chain quality.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-4 years of quality engineering experience within aerospace manufcaturing.
  • Strong supplier quality background, including corrective actions, audits, and performance management.
  • Experience leading root-cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, and FMEA.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive measurable process improvements.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable reviewing technical documentation, engineering drawings, and quality records in a regulated environment.
