This role is responsible for managing supplier quality performance, corrective actions, and new supplier launches across multiple manufacturing locations. You'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers meet quality standards while driving continuous improvement and risk reduction.

Job Description

  • Manage supplier quality processes using internal procedures and quality standards
  • Lead supplier corrective actions from containment through permanent resolution
  • Oversee supplier PPAP submissions and ensure compliance with quality requirements
  • Audit new and existing suppliers to support selection, launch readiness, and corrective action closure
  • Track and manage supplier RMAs and non‑conforming material issues
  • Drive focused improvement initiatives with underperforming suppliers
  • Support new product and process launches by integrating PPAP, compliance, and lessons learned
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality documentation and requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 5-7 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
  • Hands‑on experience with AIAG PPAP processes
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
  • Expertise in 8D problem solving, statistical tools, and continuous improvement methods
