The ideal candidate will have deep experience analyzing insurance companies, with additional exposure to non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), broker-dealers, investment managers, fund families, hedge funds, mutual funds, and financial sponsors viewed as a plus.

Job Description

  • Lead insurance-related initiatives within the Banking & Financial Services department.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance-sector clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assess client needs and help shape suitable banking and financial services solutions.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to deliver clear, timely client coverage and support.
  • Review market activity in the insurance sector to inform client conversations and priorities.
  • Prepare clear materials for senior discussions, client meetings, and internal updates.
  • Manage priorities across active insurance-related work to maintain progress and responsiveness.
  • Represent the company professionally in interactions with insurance clients and business partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Approximately 5-7+ years of experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, underwriting, loan review, or a related financial analysis function.
  • Strong understanding of financial institutions, particularly the insurance sector, and related credit risk frameworks.
