With expertise in precision molding, they deliver high-performance components using advanced techniques like compression, transfer, and injection molding.Job DescriptionThe Tool & Die Room Supervisor will:Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and environmental policies. Promptly report any unsafe conditions or violations.Supervise and coordinate daily activities of toolmakers, machinists, and tool room personnel to meet production and project timelines.Oversee the fabrication, debugging, and repair of stamping dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and machinery to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.Assign and prioritize tooling projects based on production needs and engineering direction.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams to support new product launches, process improvements, and troubleshooting efforts.Ensure all tooling is manufactured and maintained in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.Lead implementation of design changes, drawing revisions, and process improvements within the tool room.Monitor machining processes requiring tight tolerances, including CNC milling and lathe operations.Support and oversee debugging and validation of new tooling and processes prior to production release.Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Maintain proper documentation, tooling records, and inventory of tool room equipment and supplies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
