You will work closely with Project Managers and clients to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient engineering solutions.This role is ideal for a seasoned transmission line engineer who enjoys ownership, technical leadership, mentoring others, and influencing project outcomes. Licensed engineering role + people leader responsible for serving as engineer of record, leading the technical execution of t-line projects, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. This role provides technical authority, project oversight, and team leadership across complex overhead transmission line projects.You WillServe as the Engineer of Record for overhead transmission line projects, ensuring design accuracy, compliance, and adherence to NESC, RUS, and client standardsProvide technical leadership and direction to the transmission line design team across all project phases-from concept development through construction supportPerform, review, and approve detailed engineering calculations, models, design packages, and sealed deliverablesCollaborate with Project Managers to define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and execution strategiesGuide project teams to complete work within planned budgets, schedules, and resource constraintsOversee and enforce QA/QC processes to maintain consistent technical quality and complianceSupport construction activities through design clarifications, field visits, and evaluation of change orders or design revisionsProvide technical input for proposals, workload planning, and business development effortsDrive continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, workflows, and team capabilitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
