Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
The Traveling Construction Superintendent - Commercial will report into senior leadership and take ownership of project delivery across multiple sites. You will lead field operations while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial retrofit projects
  • Manage subcontractors across MEP and HVAC scopes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate closely with design and project management teams
  • Enforce safety standards, including OSHA compliance
  • Maintain strong client relationships on active job sites

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:
For the Traveling Construction Superintendent - Commercial we are seeking:

  • 7+ years of Construction Superintendent experience (mechanical, electrical, or general contracting)
  • Strong background in HVAC or MEP retrofit projects
  • Proven experience in commercial construction within existing buildings
  • Design-build project experience is required
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and specifications
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% nationwide
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
