Job Description

  • Oversee procurement activities, including soliciting bids, reviewing proposals, and selecting qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Lead on‑site project meetings to ensure alignment between construction teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other critical project documentation.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards through routine site inspections and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design issues and ensure constructability.
  • Drive project kickoff and closeout processes, ensuring thorough documentation and smooth handoff.
  • Track project financials, analyze cost trends, and report variances proactively.
  • Coordinate equipment and material deliveries to support efficient, uninterrupted construction workflows.
  • Support the commissioning and turnover process for data center systems and infrastructure.
  • Facilitate communication across disciplines to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project phases.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Assist in developing project execution plans and construction methodologies tailored to data center requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred
  • +/- 5-12 years of industry experience
  • Proven expertise in managing major, large-scale data center construction projects
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality assurance practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions - will report to the HQ in Northern Virignia for the first 4-6 months
