Job Description

The Traveling Superintendent - Commercial - Southeast Travel will be responsible for:

    • Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through completion.
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
    • Manage project schedules and drive progress to meet key milestones.
    • Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
    • Conduct site inspections and proactively identify and resolve project issues.
    • Maintain a safe job site and enforce compliance with all safety requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Monitor site productivity and support effective resource allocation.
    • Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and daily logs.
    • Travel extensively throughout the Southeast region to support active construction projects.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Traveling Superintendent - Commercial - Southeast Travel will have the following experience:

    • 3+ years of retail construction experience with a general contractor.
    • Proven experience as a Superintendent within the construction industry.
    • Experience managing multiple trades and coordinating field operations.
    • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety practices, and quality control.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and deliver successful outcomes.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast.
    • Proficiency with construction management and field reporting tools is preferred.
