The organization values experienced field leaders who can effectively manage complex projects while building strong relationships with project teams, clients, and trade partners.Due to continued expansion within its mission critical division, the company is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale projects and play a key role in delivering technically demanding work across the nation.Job DescriptionProvide overall field leadership for mission critical construction projects from groundbreaking through turnover.Manage day-to-day jobsite operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules while coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics.Lead project site meetings and maintain effective communication with owners, design teams, trade partners, and internal project stakeholders.Enforce and promote a proactive safety culture while ensuring compliance with all company, local, and federal safety standards.Monitor construction activities to ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality requirements.Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and turnover procedures.Identify and resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and constructability challenges before they affect project performance.Work closely with Project Managers to maintain budget controls, manpower planning, procurement schedules, and project forecasting.Review subcontractor performance and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained throughout project execution.Lead punch list and project closeout activities to ensure successful owner occupancy and project completion.Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel while helping develop future construction leaders within the organization.Travel nationally as required to support current and future mission critical projects.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
