Job Description

As the Traveling Superintendent, you will report directly to senior leadership and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects across multiple U.S. markets.

  • Lead on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Manage daily field operations, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all phases of construction
  • Drive schedules for projects typically ranging from 5-12 months
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover documentation
  • Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to leadership and project teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and trade partners

The Successful Applicant

For the Traveling Superintendent we are seeking:

  • Proven experience delivering ground-up and remodel big box retail projects
  • Background in grocery, automotive, tilt-wall, or large-format retail construction
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally for extended project durations
  • Strong leadership presence with subcontractors and field teams
  • Deep understanding of safety standards, scheduling, and quality control
  • Experience working for commercial general contractors preferred
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
