Traveling superintendents are viewed as critical drivers of success and are supported by strong preconstruction, project management, and operational teams.Job DescriptionLead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through final closeout on Southeast‑based projects.Manage subcontractors, field staff, site logistics, and construction sequencing to meet aggressive schedules.Enforce company safety programs, job hazard analysis, and OSHA compliance at all times.Review and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work for accurate execution.Coordinate inspections, long‑lead material deliveries, and trade sequencing.Conduct daily huddles, weekly subcontractor meetings, and progress reporting.Maintain daily job logs, safety documentation, quality checklists, and photo documentation.Oversee quality control, punch list execution, and owner turnover.Collaborate closely with Project Managers to manage schedule impacts, changes, and risk mitigation.Travel regionally throughout the Southeast for the duration of assigned projects.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
