Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols and ensure all work adheres to local building codes and regulations.
  • Work closely with project managers to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy in execution.
  • Manage material deliveries and inventory to avoid project delays.
  • Address and resolve any on-site issues that arise during construction.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on project status and site activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods as required by project locations-Midwest travel primarily.
