This individual will play a key role in managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety protocols, and driving site productivity, particularly in high-demand, fast-track environments like data centers.

As they continue to grow their national footprint, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee field operations on major data center builds across the country.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee all phases of on-site construction for large-scale data center projects


  • Direct and coordinate field operations, subcontractor activities, and site logistics


  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards


  • Maintain a strong jobsite safety culture and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company policies


  • Serve as the primary point of contact on site, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and owners


  • Conduct daily site meetings, track progress, and resolve on-site issues proactively


  • Monitor materials, manpower, and equipment to ensure efficient execution


  • Mentor and lead field staff while fostering a strong, collaborative team culture

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:



  • 8+ years of experience in a Superintendent role, with a minimum of 3 years leading large-scale commercial or mission-critical builds


  • Prior experience with data center, high-tech, or heavy MEP projects is strongly preferred


  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work at various job sites nationwide


  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations


  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex teams and timelines


  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
