Job Description

As the Superintendent / SSHO / QCM, you will report into senior project leadership and take full responsibility for site execution, compliance, and quality assurance on active projects.

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), enforcing safety protocols and maintaining compliance with federal and project-specific requirements
  • Lead all quality control activities as Quality Control Manager (QCM), including inspections, documentation, and audits
  • Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively address risks and delays
  • Manage site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and quality records
  • Serve as the main on-site point of contact for project execution and compliance

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent / SSHO / QCM, we are seeking:

  • Proven experience operating in a "triple-hat" capacity (Superintendent, SSHO, and QCM)
  • Background in federal or government construction projects is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, quality control procedures, and site management
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across safety, quality, and delivery simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across site teams and stakeholders
  • Self-sufficient, organised, and able to operate with minimal supervision
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA, USACE/NAVFAC QCM) are advantageous
