Job Description

The Traveling Project Manager will report into senior leadership and be responsible for end-to-end project delivery on mission critical data center projects across Texas. You will lead project execution, client coordination, and team alignment on fast-paced builds where schedule is paramount.

  • Manage full lifecycle of large-scale data center construction projects
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project teams
  • Lead coordination of complex MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) scopes
  • Ensure proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders ("no surprises" delivery)
  • Drive schedule adherence on high-priority, time-sensitive projects
  • Utilize tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 to manage execution
  • Support team development and maintain strong on-site culture aligned with safety, quality, and cleanliness standards

The Successful Applicant

For the Traveling Project Manager - Data Center Construction, we are seeking:

  • 7-10+ years of commercial construction experience (general contractor preferred)
  • Experience in data center or mission critical construction strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination
  • Proven ability to manage projects in the $50M-$200M+ range
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred)
  • Willingness to travel across Texas (weekly travel or project-based relocation required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
