This role is open because the current paralegal is being promoted into a more senior role.Job DescriptionPrepare and manage legal documents related to VA disability claims.Completing and filing VA forms, particularly the 21-526EZ, 20-0995, and 20-0996.Filing claims and appeals through VA QuickSubmit.Assist attorneys with case preparation and research.Maintain client files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Communicate with clients regarding case updates and documentation needs.Coordinate with external parties, including medical professionals and government agencies.Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.Support attorneys during hearings and legal proceedings as needed.Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
