Job Description

The Vice President, Investments will play a critical role in sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing senior housing investments across the United States. Reporting directly to the CIO, this individual will have broad exposure across acquisitions, asset management, capital markets, and strategic portfolio decisions while helping build and scale an expanding investment platform.

This is a highly visible opportunity for an investment professional seeking direct access to decision-makers, meaningful transaction volume, and the ability to participate in the value creation generated across the portfolio.Selected responsibilities:

  • Lead underwriting and financial analysis for acquisitions, developments, recapitalizations, refinancings, and dispositions.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models evaluating investment returns, operating performance, and capital structure alternatives.
  • Conduct market research, demographic analysis, and asset-level due diligence to support investment decisions.
  • Coordinate transaction execution alongside brokers, attorneys, lenders, consultants, and third-party advisors from initial review through closing.
  • Partner closely with operating leadership to evaluate performance, identify operational opportunities, and enhance asset-level value creation.
  • Assist with capital raising efforts, lender relationships, investor reporting, and portfolio performance analytics.
  • Support investment committee materials and provide strategic recommendations regarding acquisitions, portfolio management, and growth initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

For the Vice President, Investments we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, asset management, investment banking, private equity, or a related environment.
  • Direct experience underwriting senior housing investments is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of operating-intensive real estate sectors, including senior living, healthcare, hospitality, etc.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills with the ability to independently evaluate complex transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of debt financing, capital structures, and institutional real estate investment concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with executives, investors, lenders, and operating partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
