About Our Client

Our client is a growing North American construction products organisation supported by an established and highly successful European parent company. The business offers innovative product solutions, a collaborative culture, and ambitious growth plans, including the expansion of its product portfolio and strategic acquisition opportunities.
Current North American revenue is approximately $20M-$25M, with a goal of substantial growth over the next several years.

Job Description



  • Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy across multiple product lines.
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals and sales leaders across North America.
    • Drive profitable revenue growth while improving market penetration and customer engagement.
    • Build stronger direct sales channels and customer relationships.
    • Oversee commercial activities for multiple product segments serving the construction industry.
    • Collaborate with engineering, distribution, manufacturer representatives, and end users to grow market share.
    • Identify and evaluate new product line opportunities.
    • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and market expansion initiatives.
    • Support due diligence, integration, and commercial strategy related to potential acquisitions.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing dynamics, and tariff-related impacts.
    • Travel extensively throughout North America to engage customers, support teams, and develop business opportunities.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven sales leadership experience within the construction products, building materials, structural systems, concrete solutions, architectural products, or related construction industries.
  • Experience leading sales organisations of approximately 5-10+ people, including managers and/or independent representatives.
  • Strong background driving growth through both direct sales and channel relationships.
  • Ability to lead diverse product portfolios serving multiple customer segments.
  • Experience selling to stakeholders such as engineers, contractors, fabricators, architects, distributors, and construction firms.
  • A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend significant time in the field.
  • Demonstrated success creating accountability, following through on commitments, and delivering measurable business results.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen combined with an execution-focused mindset.
  • Comfort working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience within construction-related product manufacturing.
  • Exposure to specification-driven sales environments.
  • Experience supporting growth through acquisitions or new product introductions.
