Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsLead independent reviews of leveraged loan portfoliosHigh visibility role partnering with senior stakeholdersAbout Our ClientTop tier corporate and investment bank.Job DescriptionConduct independent reviews of leveraged loan transactions and portfolio exposures to assess overall credit quality and adherence to risk standards.Evaluate underwriting practices, transaction structures, covenant packages, repayment capacity, and key credit risks.Assess the accuracy and appropriateness of internal risk ratings and borrower classifications.Review ongoing portfolio surveillance and monitoring processes to identify deterioration trends and emerging risks.Analyse borrower financial statements, projections, capital structures, liquidity profiles, and debt service capabilities.Prepare detailed review reports summarising findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for management.Challenge credit decisions where appropriate and provide constructive feedback to business and risk partners.Monitor trends within leveraged finance markets, industry sectors, and broader economic conditions that may impact portfolio performance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across credit risk, leveraged finance, portfolio management, and audit functions.Support regulatory examinations and internal governance initiatives as required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
