Job Description

  • Provide strategic leadership across a large, multi-disciplinary marketing and communications function.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop director-level leaders while building a high-performance, accountable team culture.
  • Shape and evolve the company's national brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and market presence.
  • Drive integrated marketing initiatives spanning brand, communications, digital marketing, content, proposals, client experience, and thought leadership.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with long-term business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting recommendations and building support for key brand and market initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize marketing capabilities through technology, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new services, markets, and growth initiatives.
  • Manage enterprise-level marketing budgets and ensure strong return on investment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across operations, business development, and executive leadership to strengthen market visibility and client engagement.
  • Maintain high creative standards and ensure all marketing efforts reinforce the organization's premier industry reputation.

The Successful Applicant

Key qualifications include:

  • 10-15+ years of progressive marketing, brand, communications, or corporate marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience within large, nationally recognized organizations such as consulting firms, hospitality companies, professional services organizations, or similarly sophisticated B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling marketing teams, including managing senior-level marketing directors.
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, corporate communications, digital marketing, content strategy, and integrated campaigns.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and influencing strategic business decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology, CRM systems, analytics, automation platforms, and digital transformation.
  • Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve marketing effectiveness and team performance.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budget ownership and resource allocation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services experience is beneficial but not required.
