This position will be helping support monthend close processes for their plant along with maintaining all costings needs reporting in the Plant Controller. There will also be a heavy emphasis on helping on their transition to SAP

Reporting directly into the VP of Finance, the Finance Manager/Plant Controller will have a blended role of Accounting & Finance, while overseeing an Accountant. You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance function (forecasting/budgeting/cost analysis/etc.) as well as overseeing monthly financial closing duties.

Reporting into the President with support from the parent company, you will have ownership of the accounting and finance function for the Illinois location. This is a 50/50 blended role of Accounting & Finance, managing the month-end close and forecasting/budgeting process, while leading a team of 2 Staff Accountants.

This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of cost accounting practices, particularly within a production or engineering-to-order environment. The individual will play a critical role in analyzing manufacturing costs, identifying process improvements, and providing strategic financial insights to operational teams.
