This hands-on Manufacturing Engineer position focuses on optimizing production processes, tooling, fixtures, layouts, and ERP utilization to improve manufacturing performance. The role partners closely with operations, quality, production, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This Manufacturing Engineer will spend the majority of their time on the production floor supporting aluminum operations, ensuring processes are followed, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role serves as the primary engineering resource between production, quality, maintenance, and operations to improve safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing consistency.
This role focuses on improving manufacturing performance through the development and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment. Working closely with production teams, it identifies and resolves operational challenges using lean manufacturing methodologies while providing CAD/CAM expertise in support of multi-axis machining, EDM, and precision grinding operations.
