Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Process Planning to support the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for precision-engineered products. This position is responsible for translating product designs into efficient manufacturing methods, creating process documentation, supporting new product introduction, and driving operational improvements across the manufacturing environment.
This role provides full profit-and-loss leadership for an independent, market-driven manufacturing operation, overseeing Manufacturing, Engineering, Inside Sales, and Supply Chain functions while partnering with corporate teams for HR, and finance.As a senior leadership team member, the position is responsible for setting strategic direction, driving business performance, aligning cross-functional activities, establishing operational objectives, and communicating business results and future plans to stakeholders.
The Director of Manufacturing oversees all manufacturing operations, including production, staffing, safety, quality, budgeting and equipment management, to ensure efficient and compliant plant performance. The role requires an experience manufacturing leader who can drive operational excellence, develop teams, and support long-term business growth, with extrusion experience being heavily preferred.
