We are partnering with a growing commercial general contractor to hire an Assistant Project Manager to support active and upcoming projects across the Northeast. About Our Client

Our client is a privately held commercial general contractor established in the late 1990s, with a team of approximately 20-30 professionals. They deliver new construction and renovation projects ranging from $1M-$5M in value across corporate, hospitality, entertainment, retail/restaurant, recreation and multifamily sectors. With a substantial backlog of multifamily work already secured for 2026, the firm is continuing to grow in a controlled and sustainable way.

Job Description

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling and coordination from pre‑construction through close‑out
  • Supporting subcontractor procurement, contract administration and change management
  • Tracking RFIs, submittals and project documentation using Procore
  • Assisting with cost tracking, budgets and basic financial reporting
  • Coordinating with site teams, consultants and vendors to maintain project schedules
  • Reviewing drawings and documents using Bluebeam
  • Attending project meetings and assisting with meeting minutes and follow‑ups

The Successful Applicant

  • 0-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or project management
  • Exposure to commercial construction projects; multifamily experience is a plus but not required
  • A construction‑related degree or equivalent on‑the‑job experience
  • Familiarity with Procore, MS Office and Bluebeam
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to commute to the company's North Shore Massachusetts office and local project sites
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
