With the architectural specification function now being developed further, this is an opportunity to join at an important stage of growth and help shape how the company engages architects, specifiers and design firms nationally.Job DescriptionDevelop relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, general contractors and other key stakeholders within the commercial construction community.Drive product specifications early in the design cycle, helping establish solutions as the Basis of Design on relevant projects.Build awareness and specification activity within CSI Division 8, with a primary focus on retrofit security glazing and related protection systems.Deliver engaging presentations, product demonstrations and Lunch & Learn sessions to architectural and design firms.Educate architects and specifiers on product applications, performance characteristics and appropriate security solutions.Identify projects and opportunities where the company's products can be incorporated during the planning and design stages.Partner with Regional Sales Managers to create pull-through opportunities and convert specification activity into commercial sales.Collaborate closely with internal Engineering, Estimating and Project Support teams to provide technically appropriate solutions.Develop long-term relationships with architectural practices capable of generating recurring specification opportunities across multiple projects.Represent the business at meetings, industry events and customer presentations across the US.Help create the processes and strategy for a growing architectural specification function.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
