Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsRoom to grow and advanceStrong project pipelineAbout Our ClientOur client is a boutique commercial General Contracting company that is experiencing continuous growth and expansion.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesField OperationsAssist the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities.Monitor daily progress of subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.Help maintain project schedules and identify potential delays before they impact milestones.Conduct daily site walks and document project progress.Coordinate deliveries, material staging, and site logistics within occupied and urban environments.Safety ManagementSupport implementation and enforcement of site-specific safety plans.Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.Participate in toolbox talks and subcontractor safety meetings.Report and document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.Quality ControlAssist with quality assurance inspections throughout all phases of construction.Review installed work to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and client expectations.Help manage punch list development and completion.Ensure high-end finishes and workmanship meet Class-A commercial standards.Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, landlords, building management teams, and clients.Attend project meetings and provide field updates.Assist in resolving day-to-day construction challenges and coordination issues.Maintain daily reports, site logs, and project documentation.Support inspections by building departments, consultants, and ownership representatives.Project CloseoutAssist with project turnover activities, final inspections, and occupancy requirements.Coordinate punch list completion with subcontractors.Organize closeout documentation, warranties, and as-built information.Help ensure projects are delivered on time and to client satisfaction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
