Job Description

  • Assist in managing ground-up construction projects from planning through completion
  • Support project teams on scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Track project progress and ensure alignment with timelines and budgets
  • Utilize project management software to maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Help oversee projects valued at $20M+ across sectors such as education, healthcare, and residential
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • The Assistant Project Manager - DC will collaborate closely with senior leadership and site teams
  • Contribute to the successful execution of complex builds throughout the DMV area

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar construction/project management role (preferred)
  • Experience supporting at least one ground-up construction project (required)
  • Background working on apartments, hospitals, libraries, schools, or universities (preferred)
  • Proven experience with projects valued at $20M or more (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, Sage 300 Timberline, and/or Textura preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
